Lynde Jo Bires, 42, of Lower Burrell, died Friday, March 10, 2023, in UPMC Shadyside hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born July 15, 1980, in New Kensington, daughter of Samuel F. Carnevale and Marsha Jo Swartz, both of New Kensington. Lynde was a lifelong resident of the local area and worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Barry McKnight D.M.D., Fox Chapel. She enjoyed camping, walking, kayaking, going to her daughters' sporting events and spending time with family and friends. She loved the beach, especially family vacations to Ocean City, Md. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 13 years, Jeffrey A. Bires; two daughters, Carmen (14) and Sloane (12); sister, Christie (James) Hanley, of Statesboro, Ga.; and brother, Jesse Carnevale, of West Vandergrift. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Toby Bires. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road. Funeral services and burial in Greenwood Memorial Park will be private.
