Robert P. Davis, 82, of Manor, PA, passed away Wednesday May 15, 2024, in the Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital. He was born Aug. 17th, 1941, in Turtle Creek. A son of the late Robert E. and Mary Jane (Adams) Davis. Prior to retirement, he was employed for 59 1/2 years at Wabtec Components/Westinghouse Air Brake. He was a 1960 graduate of Norwin High School. Bob believed and lived his life believing that actions spoke louder than words. Bob's actions spoke volumes about the kind and caring man he was and how he will be remembered. He helped a lot of people throughout his lifetime; family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and even strangers. Bob was a faithful man who loved God, his family, and life. He was a caregiver to his loved ones and generous to a fault. He was a man who never forgot a birthday, no matter how he felt himself. His five kids will remember his legacy as a wonderful, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. He loved having cook outs, setting off fireworks, his Steelers, carrying on holiday traditions with family, attending family reunions, going to multiple cash bashes, sharing a beer with friends, and his favorite spaghetti dinners at Ricky's Pizza. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bonnie Stankovich, Rose Richards,William Davis, Lyda Mae Davis, and Jack Rickard. He is survived by his children, Tammy Domenech (Ernie), Wendy Devincentis (Buddy), Rob Foucher (Blair), Patricia Krokus (Mark), and Angela Davis (Albert); numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, brother, Thomas Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be forever loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in the MASON GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First Street, Jeannette. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Jeannette Memorial Park.
