Farm to Fork dinner series

Chatham University’s Farm to Fork dinner series will begin May 9 and continue every Thursday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Eden Hall campus, 6035 Ridge Road, Richland.

Chefs from Parkhurst Dining will create dishes using produce from Eden Hall’s farm and other local vendors. Entrees are priced a la carte at $4 per entree, and sides, drinks and dessert are $3 per item.

A full-meal option is available, which includes all items for $20. Attendees can dine in and enjoy their meal at Eden Hall’s or order for takeout.

Church hosts Touch-a-Truck

Perry Highway Lutheran Church is holding its annual Touch-a-Truck event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11.

The church is at 11403 Perry Highway, Pine. The free event features plenty of vehicles to see and touch, along with a food truck and ice cream truck.

Backyard Ecosystems program

Northern Tier Public Library will host a Remake Learning event for young gardeners, “Backyard Ecosystems,” from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 15 at 4015 Dickey Road, Richland.

Master Gardener Lee Bognar will share how ecosystems contain many types of life, such as plants, insects and animals, and what to include when making your own backyard ecosystem.

Remake Learning projects at this program will include a mosaic decorated birdbath, building a bug hotel and decorating a pot to start seeds.

The event is for ages 5 and older. Registration is required at northerntierlibrary.org.

The library will be closed May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. The last day for service at the Pine-Richland High School Center for the school year will be May 23.

Memorial Day service

Join Richland American Legion Post 548 for a Memorial Day service from 10 a.m. to noon May 27 in Richland Community Park, 1157 Van Velsor Drive.

The free event includes a parade, ceremony and picnic. All are welcome to attend.

Dino Day in Pine

The Carnegie Museum of Natural History will give a dinosaur presentation from 6 to 8 p.m. May 17 at the Pine Community Center.

The event features a dinosaur quiz, dessert and dinosaur-related crafts and activities for children ages 4 to 10. Cost is $20 for Pine residents and $30 for nonresidents.

Junk in your Trunk sale

Richland’s annual Junk in your Trunk Community sale is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon May 18 at the municipal building, 4019 Dickey Road
