On January 30, 2025, ALDI celebrated the grand opening of its first store in Wilkinsburg, located at 401 Penn Avenue. The event commenced at 8:45
a.m., with the first 100 customers receiving gift bags containing ALDI fan-favorite products and gift cards.
Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to participate in the ALDI Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program.
The new store operates daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. It offers services such as curbside pickup and grocery delivery, providing convenience to the local community.
Kevin Ely, Saxonburg vice president for ALDI, expressed enthusiasm about the opening, stating, "Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier.
