Spring is here, and with it comes the much-anticipated reopening of the Braddock Farm Stand! On April 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, community members can stop by 1000 Braddock Avenue to purchase fresh, locally grown produce while supporting sustainable urban farming.

A FARM WITH A PURPOSE

Braddock Farm, operated by Grow Pittsburgh, is more than just a place to buy vegetables—it's a symbol of resilience and community-driven progress. Since its founding, the farm has provided fresh, affordable food to residents, created job opportunities, and offered educational programs about urban agriculture.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Visitors to the farm stand can shop for seasonal produce, including leafy greens, root vegetables, herbs, and more. Many of the items are grown right at Braddock Farm, ensuring freshness and a direct connection between the farm and the community.

Beyond shopping, the farm stand serves as a gathering place for neighbors to connect, learn about sustainable agriculture, and get involved in local food initiatives. Throughout the season, Grow Pittsburgh will also host workshops on gardening, composting, and healthy cooking to help people make the most of their fresh produce.

VISIT AND GET INVOLVED

Whether you're a longtime supporter or a first-time visitor, the Braddock Farm Stand is the perfect place to stock up on fresh produce, learn about urban farming, and support a local initiative making a real impact.
