BRENTWOOD, Pa., November 14, 2025 – The Brentwood community is invited to join the Brentwood Borough School District on Wednesday, November 19 for an evening focused on building a stronger, safer community - together.
The district’s Community Safety Night is from 6:00-8:30 pm in the Brentwood Middle School/High School Auditorium (doors open at 5:45 p.m.). Pre-event activities, including Touch-a-Truck and Car seat safety check, begin at 5:30 p.m. just outside the MS-HS building.
All Brentwood and surrounding area residents are welcome and encouraged to attend this opportunity to meet local first responders, explore safety resources and take part in hands-on learning experiences designed for families, students and community members of all ages. Brentwood residents can attend the entire event or just the sessions they have a particular interest in.
“The safety and security of our students and staff is the highest priority of the Brentwood Borough School District,” said Jeremy Bogdanski, Brentwood Borough SD’s Director of Police & Security. “Our officers are in the hallways, classrooms and lunchrooms every day, building trust and ensuring students know they can come to us whenever they need help.
“The Community Safety Night will give families and Brentwood residents an inside look at the work being done daily to protect and support students and provide valuable safety resources and tips for when children are outside of school,” he added. “Our goal is to strengthen the partnership between our schools, families and community members.”

- "In the Know" Helping Families Navigate the Digital World (includes video games, social media, AI and drug trends)
- Community Safety in Action (Brentwood safety efforts)
- Emergency Preparedness
- Fire Safety and fire extinguisher demonstrations
- Interactive displays and Hidden in Plain Sight trailer
- Raffle drawing

-Car Seat Safety Checks (MS-HS Lower Parking Lot) – Have your child’s car seat inspected by a certified officer.
