If you want to join a book club but don’t always have time to read in advance, the Sewickley Public Library has a solution. The Bring Your Own Book Club is all the social fun of a book club - no advanced reading required.
Each session is a combination of quiet reading time and show-and-tell. Participants spend a little time cozying up in the library reading any book of their choice, followed by a discussion with fellow literary enthusiasts to talk about titles and get recommended reads.
The group meets in the Colbert Room of the library on the third Thursday of the month from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments are served and there is no need to register.

This program is one of the many ways the library supports the PA Forward Initiative for libraries in Pennsylvania. Being a PA Forward Gold Star Library means that the Sewickley Public Library provides programs and services that promote the five areas of literacy - basic, information, civic and social, health, and financial - which help fuel life-long learning throughout our community.
