They learn skills like teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving by working on group projects and taking on roles in their troop. These lessons help them build confidence and prepare them to face challenges in life. Girl Scouts is a place where Black girls can feel accepted and celebrated. It gives them a chance to connect with mentors and other girls who encourage and support them, building their self-esteem and helping them feel like they belong. Programs in Girl Scouts teach practical skills like managing money, exploring science and technology, starting a business, and helping their communities. These skills help Black girls plan for a successful future and reach their goals. Girl Scouts shows Black girls examples of successful women who look like them.
