The Obstacle Course Race known as the Tropical 5K Classic is a fun and challenging Hawaiian-themed event held at Hartwood Acres. Participants will be crawling, climbing, bouncing and bending to raise funds for Blood Cancer RESEARCH and Patient Services.
Each team is responsible for carrying one pineapple throughout the course without letting it touch the ground. Customarily costumes are worn and for those who participate in the dress-up, a best costume prize is awarded at the Luau. After the race, participants and sponsors are invited to join us for a Luau complete with Hawaiian food, drinks, awards and steel drums!
Tropical 5K Classic is a non-profit, with all proceeds benefiting cancer research involving effective therapies and treatment for local cancer patients.
