Strange Roots exists at the intersection of farmhouse brewing tradition and creative, locally-driven experimentation. We’re passionate about celebrating our environment through the use of local ingredients, varying fermentation methods and micro flora, and strive to create unique artisan ales inspired by our surroundings here in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains.

Bella Terra Vineyards, located in Hunker, PA was founded in 2015 by Jay and Joanna Bell, produce award winning wines, canned wine cocktails and an array of seasonal ciders.

Coming from a large Italian family, all of our gatherings include lots of homemade food and wine, and plenty of laughter. We want our wine to give you that warm, connected feeling, which is why we craft small batches of wine the way our family has made it for years.
