Owner and Operator, Matt Garfold, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2003 and served until 2007. While enlisted he served in Iraq and Kuwait. After he was honorably discharged he worked his way into the plumbing, enjoying working with his hands and interacting with customers. However, he quickly realized that serving as a plumber was more than just job, it’s a trade that is crucial to folks in the community and throughout the world. He also noticed that even though the plumbing would always be done properly, the customer service many of his colleagues delivered was lacking, and often not best option for the customer. He then put himself on a mission to change the way the industry operates. He decided to start G.I. Plumbing in 2015 with the emphasis not just on the plumbing, but more importantly the customer and the type of service that was provided. Since day one Matt has built a team who’s mission is to “Provide the Greatest Customer Experience to Ever Exist In Our Industry.” This is what drives the entire G.I.
