Raymond "Uncle Ray" Hickey Jr., 62, of Harmar Township, (Allegheny County) passed away suddenly Monday, Feb. 12, 2024. Ray was born July 22, 1961, in Pittsburgh, to the late Raymond and Kay Hickey. Raymond is survived by his brother, John J. (Jackie) Hickey, of the South Hills; two sisters, Diana L. (Ron Zeiler) Magnanti, of New Kensington, and Linda M. Bacon, of Richmond, Va.; and eight nieces and nephews, who were his pride and joy. Seldom in life do you come across someone quite like Ray. With his big heart and willingness to help others, Ray never missed an opportunity to try and make someone laugh or smile. No matter what, Ray would always find a way to help his family and friends. His hobbies included watching NASCAR, Pittsburgh sporting teams and cheering for the Springdale Dynamos. Raymond's love for his family was displayed every day and his legacy of being there for others will carry on. Family and friends are invited from 5 until the time of memorial services at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, in the DENNIS J. DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 324 Fourth St., Freeport. The Rev. Jonathan D.
