Norman "Red" J. Lancaster,Age 86, of Monroeville, PA died on March 5, 2024. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Sandra L. (Heckler) Lancaster; loving father of son, Norman E. (Joy) Lancaster, II, and daughter, Cassandra L. (Donnie) Adams; cherished grandfather of Matthew Lancaster and Sarah Lancaster; dear brother of Shirley Fay (Richard) Finnell; he is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by his father, Norman E. Lancaster; mother, Roseanna (Simpson) Lancaster, and sister, Lorraine Jean Brousseau. Red was an employee of Haskell of Pittsburgh for 46 years as a roll former. He was a football official for over 35 years with the Greater Pittsburgh Football Officials Association (GPFOA) for Midget League and High School Football. He was also a baseball and softball umpire in Little League, Pony League, Semi-pro, High School baseball and High School softball. Red was a member of Pinjammers and Guys and Dolls Bowling League, which he participated in with his wife, Sandy. Red was also a lifetime member of Penn Hills Masonic Lodge #546. Family and friends will be received on March 12, 2024 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL), 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747), where a blessing service will be held at the funeral home on March 13, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
