Amy (Hartin) Appleby-Harris, 58 of Hebron, Md., formerly of Salem Township, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, along with her two fur babies, her cats, Tucker and Jake. Born Oct. 17, 1965, in McKeesport, she a daughter of the late Archibald and Liz Hartin. Amy was always a loving caregiver. She gave of herself caring for her Downs Syndrome sister, Gayle, throughout her childhood, later caring for her children as a loving mother, and most recently her husband, Kevin. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother always putting others first. Along with her husband Kevin, she enjoyed activities revolving around their old Ford street rod. All her life she was a very social person who made friends everywhere she went. Amy is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kevin Harris; daughters; Mallory Oberts and her husband, Kellen, and Rachel Graham and her husband, Drew; granddaughters, Adaire, Ashtyn, Beckett and Marlow; sister, Beth; a special cousin, Lori; and a niece and two nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Jill and Gayle. A celebration of Amy's life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, Murrysville.
