Paul Skenes (0.00) made his fourth Triple-A start and was dominant again, throwing 3⅓ scoreless innings with eight strikeouts. He allowed a double to 1B Yunior Severino and two walks. He hit 100 on the radar gun on 34 of his 65 pitches. He has 27 strikeouts in 12⅔ innings this season. RHP JC Flowers (2-0, 7.88) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings to pick up the win. 2B Ji Hwan Bae (.500) went 2 for 4 with a run scored. 1B Jake Lamb (.366) went 2 for 2 with two RBIs and a walk. 3B Malcom Nunez (.304) went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 5-6) beat Bowie (Orioles), 7-6. RHP Bubba Chandler (1-0, 2.92) picked up the win, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks in five innings. He fanned five. RHP Isaac Matson (5.06) gave up one run on two hits over the final two innings to earn his first save. 3B Jackson Glenn (.176) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his first. 1B Seth Beer (.233) went 1 for 4 with a solo homer, his first. C Abrahan Gutierrez (.314) went 2 for 4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. CF Tres Gonzalez (.184) also went 2 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 8-4) outslugged Hickory (Rangers), 9-6. 1B Josiah Sightler (.167) went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer, his first, and three RBIs. 2B Termarr Johnson (.179) went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. LF Sammy Sianni (.360) was 4 for 5 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. RHP Patrick Reilly (6.17) started and went 4⅓ innings, allowing four runs on two hits, including a homer, and three walks. He struck out seven. LHP Dominic Perachi (2-0, 0.00) pitched 3⅔ scoreless innings, allowing one hit and two walks and fanning two, to earn the win.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 2-10) lost to Daytona (Reds), 8-4. RHP Antwone Kelly (11.70) started and gave up three runs on four hits, including two homers, in four innings. He struck out four. LHP Connor Oliver (12.46) and RHP Garrett McMillan (5.06) each pitched three scoreless innings of relief. Oliver didn’t allow a hit. RHP Tyler Kennedy (19.64) was roughed up for five runs, four earned, in an inning. SS Andres Alvarez (.375) went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. C Omar Alfonzo (.222) went 2 for 5 and knocked in a run. 3B Garret Forrester (.139) went 2 for 3 with a walk.
