Elizabeth Anne (Daw) Hanley, 62, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, May 4, 2023, of complications from heart surgery. She was born July 8, 1960, in Penn Hills, and raised in Regent Square, a daughter of the late Walter and Doris McMillan Daw. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 39 years, Raymond J. Hanley, of North Huntingdon; her daughter, Amanda (Hanley) Smith and her husband, Ryan, of Philadelphia; her son, Andrew Hanley and his husband, Michael Libonati, of New York, N.Y.; her son, Sean Hanley, of Miami, Fla.; her daughter, Sarah Hanley, of Philadelphia; and her son, Joseph Hanley, of Philadelphia. She is survived also by her older brother, Kevin R. Daw; and younger sister (and best friend, sometimes "twin"), Nancy E. Innes, of Pittsburgh. She was Aunt Beth to her many sweet nieces and nephews, who she also loved dearly. Beth was a doting grandmother ("Gigi") to her two beautiful grandkids, Annabel (Annie) and Roman, Amanda and Ryan's children. Beth was the heart of her family and was fully and completely devoted to each of us. She was the embodiment of love and care to her family, friends, friends of friends, and all those she met. She and Ray were happiest at the beach, surrounded by their children, grandchildren, family and friends. Her loved ones will continue to make memories there with her spirit surrounding them. Beth was an active member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon. She volunteered relentlessly throughout her children's school years to support Queen of Angels and Greensburg Central Catholic. She also contributed her time and expertise to Saint Vincent College's Respect Life Club. She developed a love for fly fishing and had quite a skill at catching big fish. The family wishes to thank those at Forbes and Allegheny General Hospitals for the compassionate care provided to her and her family.
