Victoria Lynn (Papapetrou) Georges, 67, of Greensburg, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, at home. She was born June 17, 1957, in Verona, a daughter of the late Christ and Christine A. Martinelli Papapetrou. Vicki, a proud graduate of Penn Hills High School, Class of 1975, dedicated much of her career as a bookkeeper for the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County for 20 years. She was an active member of St. Matthias Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Hempfield, where she participated in the WELCA Club. After receiving a kidney transplant, Vicki became involved with the Western PA Kidney Support Group, offering support to others facing similar challenges. A talented artist, she found joy in crafting, often creating beautiful homemade ceramics and greeting cards to share with family and friends during the holidays. Her creativity and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; and an infant sister, Mary Catherine Papapetrou. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of forty-five years, Norbert Georges; two sisters, Lee Thorpe-Holleran (Thomas) of Wilmington, NC, and Teri Pappas of Mesa, AZ; brother, Dean Papapetrou of Pawley's Island, SC; brother-in-law, Regis Georges (Nancy) of Saltsburg; her beloved seven nieces and nephews; her faithful dog, Samson; and many close friends.
