Christmas concert to benefit World Vision

The Kiski Valley Community Band will perform a Christmas concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 409 Sarver Road, Buffalo Township.

Donations will be accepted for World Vision. Selections will include holiday favorites “Sleigh Ride” and “A Christmas Festival,” both by Leroy Anderson, and a sing-along.


Free laundry products available to those in need

First Baptist Church of Tarentum will offer a new laundry closet outreach to those who need laundry products.

Detergent, bleach and scented beads will be distributed to anyone in need after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service at the church, 410 E. Third Ave. The program will continue on the fourth Sunday of each month.
