Food drive planned Saturday in Lower Burrell

The Fallen Officers Food Drive will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Mogie’s Irish Pub, 3210 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell.

The event will be sponsored in memory of local fallen police officers K9 Officer Derek Kotecki, Officer Brian Shaw and Chief Justin McIntire and will benefit the St. Margaret Mary Food Pantry and the Westmoreland County Food Bank.


Community welcome at free meal in Tarentum

First Presbyterian Church of Tarentum will host a free dine-in community dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 913 Lock St.

No reservations are required, and everyone is welcome.
