A man was taken to a hospital in stable condition after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Homewood South neighborhood Saturday night, according to Pittsburgh police.

Officers from Zone 5 responded to an alert of 13 rounds being fired in the 7600 block of Susquehanna Street around 8:30 p.m.

The man had been shot in his left shoulder, police said.

According to police, a man and a woman were in their vehicle when a fight broke out among several others outside. During the incident, one person withdrew a firearm and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle.

The woman was not hurt, police said.

Police were reviewing camera footage from the area. An investigation was ongoing.
