Ann Weber, 77, passed away on Oct. 1, 2024, surrounded by her family. Ann was born in Harrisburg, PA, to Lawrence and Evelyn Heffner on Nov. 26, 1946. She was a graduate of IUP and spent her professional career educating and caring for young children. Ann was an avid gardener and would go to great lengths to visit gardens, including Keukenhof in Amsterdam, flower shows at Phipps Conservatory, and tulip festivals in Holland, Michigan. She was passionate about caring for her beautiful yard. Her goal, which she accomplished, was to have her flowers bloom in spring, summer, and fall. She took pride in sharing plants and flowers with friends and neighbors. She was one of the hardest workers one could ever meet, and she knew the value of a dollar. Ann spent years designing, making and selling stuffed toys and was an accomplished seamstress. She found pleasure in watching and feeding the birds in her yard. Holidays gave Ann the opportunity to decorate, bake, and spend time with her family, which meant the world to her. Traveling added great adventure to her life. She traveled locally, nationally, and internationally. Trips included her annual trip to see the elk in Elk County, a trip to Arizona to see a Hot Air Ballon Festival, and a trip to view the natural wonders of Iceland, to name a few on her extensive bucket list. River City Brass Concerts were regularly enjoyed and attended. Ann was a devoted and lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her two children, daughter, Stacey Bannach and partner Eric Sieczka; son, Larry Weber and girlfriend Kerry Villella; and their father, Harry Weber; brother, James Heffner and wife Donna; niece Heather Jordan and husband Chad; great nephew Max; and several cousins. A special thank you to her care team led by her adored home nurse Ricky; and neighbors Angel and David Moore and their sons, Tyler and Theo, the "adopted" grandchildren and source of endless joy for Ann; and close friend Dr. Sarah Treter who coordinated her care, and her son, Peter, whom Ann babysat for years. To honor Ann, contributions can be made to the Blackburn Center, 1011 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. Burial will be private and a memorial service will be scheduled to celebrate Ann's life. Remember her with every bird sighting and flower; Forever in our Hearts.
