Karen M. Kiral, 75, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2024, at her home with her family by her side. Karen was born Oct. 25, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Michael Jankowski and Mary Whipkey Fabian. Karen was a member of the New Hope Alliance Church, Scottdale, and was a former employee of Big Lots, Mt. Pleasant. She was an avid bingo player. Surviving are her children, Michael Kiral of Mt. Pleasant, and Marcie Keefer (Larry) of McClellantown; grandson, Justin Kiral; great-grandchildren, Addison, Avery Keefer, Gwenevera and Ava Kiral; brothers, Dennis Jankowski (Pat) and Gene Jankowski; sisters, Joyce Fabian Stanczyk (John), Rose Overly (Chuck); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews; and friends that called her Gram, Mary, Darlene and Heather. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Kiral; stepfather, Michael Fabian; grandson, Shawn Keefer; sisters, Lisa Stouffer and Cindy Lowhigh; and a brother, Michael Jankowki. A prayer service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 12 p.m. followed by additional visitation hours until 8 p.m. for family and friends at SLATER-REGA FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 730 W.
