Kenneth G. Barton, 87, of Harrison City, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born Nov. 19, 1936, he was the son of the late Kenneth J. and Sophie (Folta) Barton, and the husband of the late Tecla S. Barton. Kenneth spent his working years as a groundskeeper at Westmoreland Country Club, as a laborer for General Tire, as a landscaper for Evergreen Lawncare and then finished at Omnova Solutions. He loved to spend his time listening to Polka Music, doing crossword puzzles, hunting and fishing, and watching old western movies. He is survived by his children, Louis (Anita) Barton, Neil (Tina) Barton and Lisa (Mike) Sutter; grandchildren, Anthony and Andrew Barton, Michelle Moore and Serena Seese; great-grandchildren, Isla and Axton Moore; and his brother, Butch (Doreen) Barton. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Transitions Healthcare in North Huntingdon, and to Becky, Marion, and Lisa from Bridges Hospice.
