The official Pittsburgh Screening for the Ebony Canal will take place at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center Friday, July 19, 2024.
A sold out event where the cast, creators, and families will arrive for red carpet, screening, and a narrated panel discussion to discuss Black women and infant mortality.
The Ebony Canal is directed by Emmai Alaquiva and produced by 'Ya Momz House, Inc.'
Narrated by Academy Award winner, Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice winner Viola Davis.
Highlighting stories from women Larissa Lane, Mariah Peoples, Rachel Strader, Allana Yzola-Daly.
Emmai and his team are excited to present this film to the world. It is based on the story of four strong beautiful women.
