Norma L. (Bolvin) Bruner, 92, of Cabot, formerly of Apollo, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her care team, Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, in the Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Lund Care Center, Cabot. Born May 16, 1931 in Paulton, she was a daughter of the late Robert M. Bolvin & Frances H. (Muckle) Bolvin. Norma was a 1949 graduate of Washington Township High School, and attended Airline School in Kansas City, Mo. She worked in the office and as a ticket agent for Allegheny Airlines, Piedmont Airlines, and American Airlines. Norma was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star 125, Apollo, and member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Apollo. She was an avid reader, liked working on crossword puzzles, and enjoyed knitting. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her first husband, Corbett McClure; and her second husband, Harvey W. Bruner Jr. Norma is survived by her daughter, Melinda "Mindy" (Clark) McClure-Howell, of Trappe, Md.; nephew, Robert (Mary Jo) Kunkle, of Michigan; great niece, Elizabeth; and special cousin, Debbie Bolvin Benton-Garwood, of Sun City West, Ariz. At the request of the family, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNEAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., Apollo. Interment will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo, at the convenience of the family.
