Dorothy M. Mator, 85, of Lower Burrell, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in her home. She was born in Arnold, on January 13, 1939, to the late Kenneth R. McCutcheon and Belva Pearl Clark Walker and has been a lifelong resident of the local area. Mrs. Mator was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and when she was younger, crocheting, crafts, and macrame. She is survived by her four children, John J. (Debra) Mator II of Gibsonia, Michelle R. Mator of New Kensington, Beth Ann (Victor) Lopez of Wenonah, NJ., Kimberly A. (Chad) Baker of Lower Burrell; eleven grandchildren, Jason, Joshua (Hana), Brandon (Danielle), Adam, Amanda (Kyle Phillips), Matthew (Sarah) Mator, Heather and Victor Lopez, Alayanna, Madelynn and Thomas Torrell; step-grandchildren Joclyn and John Baker; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Mator on Feb. 6, 2009; son, Randall Kevin Mator; siblings, Belva Jean Hetrick, Betty J. Lust, Kenneth R. McCutcheon and stepfather James H. Walker. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until time of evening service at 8 p.m. Friday at THE RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Rd., at Alder, where Prayers of Transfer will be said Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church.
