We are sad to announce the passing of our brother and uncle, Michael R. Spudich, 68, of Turtle Creek. His love, laughter, and generosity will be dearly missed by all of us. Michael passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, at Forbes Regional Hospital, after a long illness. He is a son of the late Herb and Mary Buckley Spudich. Michael's greatest joy was his two children, his son, the late William "Billy" Scott Spudich, and his daughter, Kaitlyn Deanne Spudich. Michael is survived by his brothers, Herbert (Betty), Thomas (the late Janet), and Leonard (Denise); his sister, Elaine (the late Wayne) Long; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Also left to cherish his memory are his lifelong friends, Michael and Danette Yezovich. Michael had a long career as a respiratory therapist working in several regional hospitals for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Colman Catholic Church. Michael was very proud of his Croatian heritage and will be remembered for being a fantastic singer, dancer, and organist.
