Apollo: trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 26. A parade will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 28. Lineup will be on 11th Street and the parade will proceed to Apollo Plaza. There will be a costume contest, food trucks and fun.
Arnold: trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 26.
Brackenridge: trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

Gilpin: trunk-or-treat, noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 in Gilpin-Leechburg Park. Residents are encouraged to decorate their trunk or come as is. There will be food trucks and fun.
Harrison: trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
Leechburg: trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Parade, Oct. 24. Check-in and judging will begin at 6 p.m. at Leechburg Volunteer Fire Company. The parade will begin at 7 p.m. and proceed up First Street to Main, to Third Street and left onto Market Street. Prizes will be awarded for costumes, groups and floats.
Lower Burrell: trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
New Kensington: trick-or-treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 26.

Vandergrift: The parade will line up from 3 to 4 p.m. Oct. 12 on Jackson Avenue by the Kennedy Park gazebo and end on Grant Avenue in downtown. Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Rain or shine.
Washington Township: A community trunk-or-treat for township children 12 and younger will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at Washington Township Volunteer Firehall, 4078 Route 66. Free drinks and snacks. Vehicles welcome to distribute treats. Cash prizes will be awarded for costumes and decorated trunks. Sponsored by the fire company community outreach committee. • Northmoreland Park Hobgoblin Hike, 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 12 at the park, Allegheny Township. Half-mile hike haunted by ghouls, monsters and goblins recommended for 8 and older. Parents are urged to attend with children. Refreshments will be available. Sponsored by the county parks and recreation department. Donations will be accepted. Rain or shine.
• Halloween Hustle 5K Costume Run/Walk, 11:30 a.m. Oct. 27 at Kiski Area High School. Virtual option available. There will be a trick-or-treat dash for children ages 2 to 10, prizes, goodie bags, crafters and vendors and food trucks. Cost: $35, includes T-shirt if registered by Oct. 10. • Prospect Cemetery Historical Ghost Tours, every 10 minutes beginning at 6 p.m. Oct. 10 at the cemetery. • Fall Fun and Flannel Harvest Fest, 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 25 at Evangel Heights Church, 120 Beale Road.
• Trunk-or-treat and car show, Oct. 19 at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Road. Sponsored by Head Turners Pittsburgh in honor of Damian Hantz. Car show check-in will be at 11 a.m. and the show will begin at 1 p.m. Vehicle registration: $10. • A murder mystery dinner theater fundraiser to benefit Stray Cat Sanctuary will be Oct. 20 at the Lamplighter Restaurant, 6566 William Penn Highway, Delmont. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., and the show dinner will be at 5. Cost: $55, include dinner, gratuity and nonalcoholic beverages. There will be raffles, merchandise and a 50-50. • The Leechburg Business Pumpkin Trail will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 26. Cards will be available Oct. 22 at Leechburg Public Library on Market Street. Cards will be limited to one per family or group.
Lower Burrell
• Fall Festival, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at Kotecki Memorial Park, Wildlife Lodge Road. Free admission. There will be food trucks, vendors, free games, a bounce house, a cornhole tournament, ax throwing, basket raffle, 50-50 and more. A car show will begin at noon. Music will be by the Cool Change Band. Parking will be at Hillcrest Shopping Center and there will be a free shuttle to the festival. Wheelchair-accessible parking will be available at the festival.
