The National Aviary’s Night in the Tropics fundraiser is cruise-themed this year and will include live entertainment, delicious food, tasty cocktails, wine, beer and seltzers, and a fun night out at the Aviary. Explore the habitats and even meet some Animal Ambassadors during your adventure.

Bingo Loco

Get wild with this internationally loved interactive show at Stage AE on Friday night. Bingo Loco isn’t your grandmother’s bingo game; it’s a full-on rave with DJs, dancing, fabulous prizes and much, much more.

The high-energy show will feature dance battles, music and a rave-like atmosphere. You’ll hear the best upbeat hits from the past four decades while competing to win insane prizes. And the hosts aren’t just there to read numbers; they’ll have you rolling with laughs.

Allegheny County Wine and Spirits Festival

Relax and imbibe at this festival for your favorite alcoholic beverages. The Allegheny County Wine and Spirits Festival will be hosted by the Parks Department on Saturday.

Featuring vendors including La Vigneta Winery, Red Barn Winery and Dead Head Winery, this festival will give you the chance to sip samples of some of your favorite wines and spirits from the region. There will also be food trucks, live music, games and more.

The whole thing will take place at the beautiful Hartwood Acres Park on Saturday. Two sessions will be held, one from 2 to 5 p.m. and one from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Get tickets at alleghenycounty.us.

Comedy Jam

Local comedian Steve Byrne is back for his fifth annual Comedy Jam. The one-night performance of stand-up comedy and music will benefit the Mario Lemieux Foundation.

This year’s lineup includes Joe Gatto and James Murray of “Impractical Jokers,” Joey Fatone of boy band NSYNC, Jessica Sutta of The PussyCat Dolls, Patrick Keane and Bill Crawford. It will be hosted by Byrne and Gary Cannon.

‘Company’

Enjoy this classic Stephen Sondheim musical in Downtown Pittsburgh, presented by Stage 62. The musical about friendship, love, marriage and life will have audiences laughing and crying.

Following single guy Bobby on the eve of his 35th birthday, “Company” reveals the lives and relationships of the main character’s friends as he decides whether or not to pursue love. The musical contains content that may be inappropriate for children.
