Nancy E. Cardinal, 77, of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at Platinum Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center, Brackenridge. She was born Aug. 9, 1946, in Natrona Heights, to the late Charles Harkleroad and Mary E. (Klingensmith) Pacek. Nancy lived most of her life in Brackenridge and Tarentum. She was a phlebotomist and LPN for Dr. Ferlan for many years and also worked at Georgian Manor and Liberty Mirror. Nancy was of the Protestant faith and a 1966 graduate of Har Brack High School. She enjoyed playing cards, music and dancing. Nancy especially enjoyed her family. Survivors include her children, Pennie M. (Cardinal) Rupp and fiance, Mark Hughes, of Natrona Heights, and Scott C. Cardinal (Katie), of Natrona Heights. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Marissa M. Rupp, of Plum Borough, Brody Cardinal and Blake Cardinal, of Natrona Heights; and great-grandson, Mason M. Cavanaugh.
