Jessie J. Husak, 86 of Mount Pleasant ( Bullskin Twp.) went home to be with the Lord, who she accepted and was saved at a very young age, on Tuesday April 30, 2024, in the Select Specialty Hospital of Independence Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born on December 3, 1937, in Bullskin Twp a daughter of the late Fred and Nettie Snyder Husak, Jessie was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School, and she was formerly employed at Bell Telephone. She was an active member of the Mt. Zion Community Church, where she taught the Pre-School Sunday School Class for many years. She is survived by one sister, Doris Johns and her husband Donald of Bullskin Twp; one brother, Larry Husak and his wife Joyce of Bullskin Twp and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Harbaugh and a brother, Joseph Husak. Family and friends will be received from 2-8 p.m., Friday, in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 406 E. Washington St., Mount Pleasant. Additional viewing will take place on from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, in the funeral home, the hour of services with her nephew, Rev. William Harbaugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Sweitzer Cemetery.
