Ralph E. Hoffman, 86, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, in the Westmoreland Hospital. He was born June 3, 1938, in Somerset, a son of the late Ralph Hoffman and Margaret Sanner Hoffman. He worked for many years as a shipper for Crane Plumbing in Somerset and proudly served in the United States Army from 1961-1963. Ralph was most happy when he was watching racing at Jennerstown Speedway, listening to Roy Orbison, or spending time with his pets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his brothers, Glenn and Levi Hoffman. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 39 years, Joanne M. Hoffman of Greensburg; children, Joni Maust (Harry) of Boswell, Denise Pletcher (Matt) of Rockwood, Tim Day (Angie) of Berlin, and Tammy Kunkel (Mark) of Goldsboro, NC; eight grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Julie, Mary, Ben, Emily, Christy, and Matthew; seven great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ayden, Adrielle, Connor, Quinn, Raelyn, and Piper; a stepdaughter, Carlene Carothers (James) of Altoona; a step-granddaughter, Emily; a brother, Cleo Hoffman of Rockwood; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ralph at 12:30 p.m. until the time of a blessing service at 2 p.m., Saturday, in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 409 W.
