Louella A. Skovira, 76, of Acme, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at her home. She was born April 16, 1948 in Donegal Township, a daughter of the late Merle and Agnes (Shawley) Keslar. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening, making rugs and her flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dwane E. Skovira; a brother, Merle Keslar, Jr.; two sisters, Arlene Little and Francis Mowry; and brother and sisters-in-law, Ellen & Jack Eisaman, Bill Mowry, Ronald Klink and Tom Lovis. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John E. Skovira; her daughter, Pamela Weinman (Jay); two grandchildren, Phillip Weinman (Sabrina) and Kimberly Weinman; two great-grandchildren, Monica and Adynn Weinman; three sisters, Betty Lovis, Nancy Wiltrout and Joann Klink; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert & Mary Skovira, Donald Skovira and John Wiltrout; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, where a funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 with The Rev. Richard J. Ulam, OSB as celebrant.
