John P. Siemering Sr., age 76, passed April 3, 2024, at his home in FL. A party to celebrate John Sr.'s life will be held at a later date. John Sr. was born on Dec. 2, 1947, in Hammond, IN. John served as a Green Beret in the United States Army after graduating from Hammond High School. John Sr. found his 'tomato' and love of his life and married Leslie Shearer Dunsworth in November of 1993. After 29 years, John Sr. retired from Norton Company and started Siem Tool Company with his son John Jr. in 1998. John Sr. was an avid hunter, golfer, fisherman, and entrepreneur. John Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Siemering; and brother, Tom. He is survived and will be missed by his wife, Leslie of thirty (30) years; sister, Cheryl Siemering; son, John P. Siemering Jr. (Kim); and grandchildren, Marian, JP, and Jake. 'Sr. taught us that stress does not exist and rules are for the other guy. ' He lived life to the fullest and we will all miss his boisterous voice.
