Sheila Ann Trenski, 88, of New Kensington. In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Matriarch. With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to the extraordinary life of Sheila Ann Trenski, who passed away at the age of 88 on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, in St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. She was born on July 24th, 1935, in New Kensington to the late Azar G. and Sophie Monsour Albert Bitar and had been a lifelong resident of the local area. She and her late husband, Richard S. Trenski, were the owners of the Town Deli in Tarentum. Sheila was a member of the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family, spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and many cousins, cheering on her favorite football and basketball teams, and reminiscing on 'old times.' Sheila loved to host her famous family reunions at her home with her late husband, Richard S. Trenski, where the family would gather by the pool for fun, laughter, and, of course, her delicious food! (Especially corn-on-the-cob for her dear brother, Raymond Bitar!) She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her and being a part of her beautiful life. She is survived by her beloved son, Michael J. Trenski, Las Vegas, NV; siblings, Raymond W. (Mary Lou) Bitar Sr. Esq., Arnold, Shirley Calhoun, Carmel, IN; Michael (Nancy) Bitar, Avon, IN and Naples, FL; grandchildren, Janine E. Bonilla, New Orleans, LA; Michael R. (Selina) Trenski, Las Vegas, NV; Taylor (Andrew) Chick, New Kensington, PA; Jaxon A. Trenski, Las Vegas, NV; Andre L. Matthews, Las Vegas, NV; great-grandchildren, Payton Y. Farneth (Trenski), Pittsburgh, PA; and Jrue A. Trenski, Las Vegas, NV; loving friends Jeffrey and Isabel Chick; and many deeply loved cousins, both local and out-of-state. Besides her parents, Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. Trenski, Sr.; her son, Richard S. Trenski, Jr.; brother, Philip G. Bitar; and daughter-in-law, Yvonne J. Ramirez-Trenski. Family and friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, followed by the funeral church service at 11 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1150 Leishman Ave., New Kensington, PA. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Orthodox Church.
