High school students at Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh in Hampton portrayed fictional counterparts in “High School Musical on Stage!”
The cast of 52 students performed in the theater adaptation of the Disney movie on Nov. 15-16 in the Rhodora J. Donahue Multi-purpose Building.
“High School Musical” is director Mike Flynn’s 40th drama production at Aquinas Academy.
Flynn was assisted by many students and teachers who helped produce the show: Felicity Koble (11th grade, music director, Joseph Chufo (12th, choreography), Lucy Fowler (12th, choreography), Ashlin Knox (12th, choreography), Brynn Burnsworth (12th, dance captain), Rosemary Meland (costumes), Brady Buchanan (set design), Jenny Fetchko (set design), Meghan McGee (11th grade, stage crew), Tim Crawford (ninth, stage crew), Anthony Rossi (11th, stage crew), Harold Tarr (12th, stage crew), Henry Hynds (11th, lights), Louis Bentivegna (11th, lights), Anthony Keane (ninth, sound), Claire McMann (12th, hair and makeup), and Nadine Hokaj (12th, hair, makeup, and play book).
The cast included leads Joe Chufo (12th grade, Troy Bolton), Lucy Fowler (12th, Gabriella), Jacob Guillen (12th, Chad Danforth), Ari Buchanan (12th, Taylor), Mary Osburg (12th, Sharpay Evans), JJ Ortiz (12th, Ryan Evans), Felicity Koble (11th, Kelsi), Daniel Hartle (11th, Zeke Baylor) and Maddison Bradley (12th, Jackie Scott).
