James Montgomery Sr., a Korean War veteran, was helpful, loving, funny and kind. As a youth, he played baseball and varsity basketball and in retirement he enjoyed fishing and golf. James and Virginia, his wife of 70 years, gathered often with family and friends. They remained active in their church where he sang in the choir and they served as custodians for many years. They were avid Pittsburgh sports fans. James and Virginia are survived by their three children and five grandchildren. Memorial service is Saturday, July 20, at 10 a.m., at Level Green Presbyterian Church, 105 Olive Drive, 15085. Interment will be private. Donations can be made to the church memorial fund in lieu of flowers. The JOHN M.
