Nash Martin Stefanik, 36, of West Vandergrift, formerly of Leechburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 29, 2024. Born Jan. 27, 1988 in Fairbanks, Alaska, he was a son of John M. Stefanik and Stacy M. (Kromka) Stefanik. Nash was a 2006 graduate of Lenape Vo-Tech, and worked as a cook at Rudy's Table (formerly Elena's Restaurant) in Lower Burrell for the last 10 years. He was a fan of playing Dungeons and Dragons, and everything Simpsons. Nash was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John L. & Patricia L. Stefanik; as well as his maternal grandparents, Edward M. & Maxine M. Kromka. Nash is survived by his father, John M. (Kim A.) Stefanik of Brackenridge; mother, Stacy M. (Kromka) Stefanik of Gilpin Township; brothers, John Alex (Toni) Stefanik of Vandergrift, Shane (Michael) Stefanik of Brackenridge; fianc, Paula (Short) LaCroix of Vandergrift; nephew, Noah; aunts and uncles, Kimberly (Terry Smith) Stefanik, Richard (Michelle) Stefanik, Donna (David) Blair, Mike (Pam) Kromka, Adrian (Sandy) Kromka; many cousins; close friends, Dink, Matt, & Josh; and last but not least, his beloved cats, Kasper & Boo. Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo.
