Herbert Clark Tempest, 94, of Mt. Pleasant, died peacefully Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at the Bethlen Home, in Ligonier. He was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Bridgeport, to the late Richard and Emma (Pierce) Tempest, and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Herbert lived a full life, and was a steadfast hard-working man his entire life, and drove cement truck for Greensburg Concrete Block for 31 years. He kept to himself, was giving and kind and always was devoted to his family. His daily presence will be deeply missed by his only child, his daughter, Tammy Keslar, and her husband, Jack; his only grandson and his pride and joy, Jack "J.R." Keslar, and his girlfriend, Amy, and her daughter, Hope, who brought so much joy to Herbert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
