Geraldine (Baker) Lockhart, age 85, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024. Born July 1, 1938, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Kaspszyk) Baker. Geraldine found a passion for volunteering. She volunteered for the American Red Cross, Pittsburgh Garden Club, The Pittsburgh Dance Council and numerous other organizations. She generously gave her time and affection to her family, friends, and all those fortunate to know her. Geraldine was a proud resident of Pittsburgh and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Degree in English. Geraldine enjoyed life! She filled her life with music, travel, animals, and sheer delight for celebrations! Geraldine is survived by her children, Lisa (Bob Ash) Lockhart, Jon Lockhart, Rachel (Scot) Stevens, and Courtney Lockhart; grandchildren, Chelsea (Rob Walsh) Rollins, Tyler Stevens and Sarah Stevens. Geraldine leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that no one could match. Geraldine brought joy to all with her brilliant smile wherever she went. Memorial contributions are suggested to Animal Full Life Rescue, Aflr.org, in Geraldine's memory and love for animals. A celebration of life for Geraldine will be planned this summer.
