Robert G. 'Babe' Pugliese, 79, formerly of Sarver, passed away unexpectedly one day before his 80th birthday, Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born April 4, 1944, in Harrison Township to the late Joseph P. and Frances (Mochanski) Pugliese. Babe lived most of his life in Tarentum and Sarver and the past 16 years in Delmont. He was a Union Laborer for Easley & Rivers, Construction Co. in Monroeville. He was a member of the Construction Union, Pittsburgh and a 1962 graduate of Har Brack High School. Babe enjoyed playing cards, Bocce and traveling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Jo (Robert Sean) Spaniel, of Vandergrift; and granddaughter, Rachael E. Spaniel, of Vandergrift. Also surviving is his companion, with whom he resided the past 17 years, Carol A. Ensley; and brother, Joseph P. Pugliese, of New Kensington. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Shirley Ann (Pollick) Pugliese, in 2006; sister, Stella Thickey; and sister-in-law, Renee L. Pugliese, March 26, 2024.
