C Carter Bins (.286) went 2 for 4 and hit a walk-off single to score CF Gilberto Celestino. 2B Nick Gonzales (.388) went 1 for 4 with a double and two strikeouts. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.300) went 1 for 2 with a single and two walks. SS Liover Peguero (.324) was 0 for 4 with four strikeouts. The Indians used five pitchers to shut out St. Paul. Starter LHP Cam Alldred (6.92) went four innings, gave up three hits, walked two and struck out six. RHP Carmen Mlodzinski (3.86) walked two and struck out one in 1⅔ innings of relief. RHP Kade McClure (13.50) struck out two in his 1⅓ innings. RHP Kyle Nicolas (1.04) and winning pitcher LHP Geronimo Franzua (1-0, 4.70) each struck out one in an inning.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 4-6) Managed only five hits in a 5-0 loss to Bowie (Orioles). CF Matt Frazier (.206), 3B Joe Perez (.333), DH Brenden Dixon (.300), 2B Kervin Pichardo (.129) and C Wyatt Hendrie (.333) each had a single for the Curve. RHP Chris Gau (0-1, 4.15) started and went two innings, allowing three hits, including a two-run home run, and took the loss. RHP Justin Meis (5.40) gave up a solo home run in three innings of work and struck out two. RHP Jaycob Deese (27.00) went two-thirds of an inning and yielded a two-run home run. RHP Eddy Yean (2.45) allowed just one hit and three walks, while striking out three in 2⅓ innings.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 7-4) struck out 14 Hickory (Rangers) batters in an 8-6 win. Starting pitcher LHP Hunter Barco (0.82) struck out four in four innings while allowing one run on five hits. LHP Luis Peralta (1-0, 0.00) fanned three, walked four and gave up no hits in 1⅓ shutout innings. RHP Emmanuel Chapman (1.80) also struck out four, walked two and gave up a home run in 1⅔ innings. RHP Darvin Garcia (8.31) gave up three runs on three hits, including a home run, walked a pair and struck out two. LHP Cy Nielson (3.86) struck out one and walked one in two-thirds of an inning. SS Termarr Johnson (.167) went 2 for 3 with a single, a sac fly, a walk and two RBIs. 3B Charles McAdoo (.212) hit two singles and had an RBI. C Shawn Ross (.150) went 1 for 3 with a two-run double. 2B Mitch Jebb (.263) was 2 for 5 with two singles and an RBI. RF Lonnie White Jr. (.238) went 0 for 4 with a pair of strikeouts.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 2-9) walked off Daytona (Reds) in 12 innings. 2B Jeral Toledo (.167) hit a sac fly in the 11th to tie the game 1-1. SS Javier Rivas (0.81) cleared the bases in the bottom of the 12th with a three-run double. RHP Hung-Leng Chang (1.17) started and went four innings, allowing no runs on two hits, one walk and three strikeouts. RHP Ben Heller (0.00) fanned four and gave up one hit in two innings of relief. RHP Peyton Stumbo (1.42) struck out three in one shutout inning, RHP Landon Tomkins (3.86) fanned one in two shutout innings, and LHP Yoldin De La Paz (1-0, 1.17) got the win, even after allowing three runs (one earned) on three hits, including a home run, in three innings. De La Paz also struck out three.
