After a long, rainy week, it’s time to relax and enjoy some downtime. From performances to parties, from celebrity appearances to festivals, Pittsburgh is jumping this weekend. Join in the fun with these events.

Idina Menzel at the Benedum Center

Broadway legend — and real-life Disney princess — Idina Menzel will perform Saturday night at the Benedum Center in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Her “Take Me Or Leave Me Tour,” the name of which references a song she sang as part of the original Broadway cast of “Rent,” will electrify audiences. Menzel was the voice of Elsa in Disney’s “Frozen” films and originated the lead role in Broadway juggernaut “Wicked.” She has also released several of her own solo albums.

The show will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday. To get tickets or learn more about the artist, check out trustarts.org.
