A 4-year-old girl is at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh after being struck by a box truck Wednesday night in West Homestead, according to police.
First responders were called to the intersection of West Eighth Avenue and Neel Street just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Allegheny County Police said the girl lost control of her bike, hitting a parked car before entering the street and being struck by the box truck.
Police did not disclose the girl’s condition.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene to speak with investigators.
