Joseph L. Baker, 52, of Harrison Township, passed away at home Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, following a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 19, 1971, in Harrison Township, following a lengthy illness. Joseph lived most of his life in Harrison Township where he was a machine operator for a box manufacturing company in Springdale. He was of the Methodist faith and a 1990 graduate of Highlands High School. Joseph was an avid golfer along with his family. Survivors include his siblings, John F. Baker III, of Natrona Heights, Barbara A. Garris, of Brackenridge, Rebecca (Timothy) Logan, of Brackenridge, Jeffrey A. (Lydie) Baker Sr., of Freeport, and Micheal L. Baker, of Natrona Heights. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews; and his longtime family friend and golfing buddy, Leroy Jones (Danette), of Brackenridge. Besides Joseph's parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Clifford C. Garris, d. Feb. 17, 2024. A celebration of Joseph's life will be held at a later date.
