Ronald Anthony "Ronny" Krause, 67, of North Huntingdon, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 17, 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 15, 1956, in Pittsburgh, to the late Edward Krause and Dolores (Abel) Teamann. As a boy, he delivered newspapers and attended Immaculate Conception School, where he enjoyed being a choir boy and crossing guard. In high school, he worked at Berney's Farm Market where he met the love of his life and wife of 44 wonderful years, Denise (Kukic) Krause. Together, they raised a beautiful family with daughter, Nicole 'Nicci' Krause and son, Matthew 'Matt' Krause. Ronny played softball for Immaculate Conception Church. He served as PTG President for his children's schools, Immaculate Conception and Queen of Angels Schools, where he also started, ran and taught the Youth Bowling League for 12 years. Ron was a Sheetmetal Journeyman for over 43 years with the Sheetmetal Local Union #12. After retirement, he enjoyed gardening, tending to his orchard and berry bushes. Oftentimes, he'd be found down in the shed, being a true craftsman, creating and building numerous projects out of metal and wood. Ronny, his children, and 'his Dennie,' went and did everything together fishing, bowling, picnics, yard sales, going for ice-cream, watching Hogan's Heroes, family game night, drive-ins in the driveway, car cruises, NASCAR races, Pirates games, and more, but being together at home with his family was his favorite place to be. It was there that he could teach his kids about tools and crack out his Elvis impersonation. He was his family's real- life Santa Claus always creating and building; always helping and teaching; always jolly, smiling and full of love. He was their strength and their shining light. Ronny's family thanks God for blessing them with such a wonderful man, loving husband and doting Dad, and for the blessings God gives them every day, because 'each day we live, we're one day closer to being with our Dad and 'our Ronny.' Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Denise; daughter, Nicole; son, Matthew; brother, Keith Krause of FL; brother, Thomas (Vique) Krause of TX; sister-in-law, Deborah Kukic of North Huntingdon; wonderful and longtime friend, Steve 'Cho' Chomanics; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Krause. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 21 at the OTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin, PA 15642. Parting prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 22 in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin.
