James F. 'Ducky' Duckworth, 97, of Jeannette, passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at his son's residence, with his family by his side. He was born April 23, 1927, in Jeannette, a son of the late Theodore and Florence (Hughes) Duckworth. Ducky was employed in the glass industry for 35 years and retired from the former Laurel Mould Co. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, member and past exulted ruler of the Jeannette Elks Lodge #486, the K of C Council #1222, the Polish Brotherhood of White Eagles, the Arlington Sportsman's Club, all of Jeannette, the Norwin Elks Lodge #2313, and the Polish Club of Westmoreland City. In addition to his parents, Ducky was predeceased by his wife Vivian E. (Smith) Duckworth; a son, Theordore 'Ted' Duckworth; sisters, Helen Dent and Marie O'Neil; and brothers, Charles and Zedrick Duckworth. He is survived by a son, Roderic 'Rod' Duckworth and wife, Michele, of PA; grandchildren, Todd Duckworth, Staci Chusko (Andrew), Heather Duckworth, Brandan Duckworth (Nicole), and Meagan Peglow (Lou); and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Iyla, Gianna, Damien, John, and James; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 228 North 2nd St., Jeannette. The K of C Council #1222 will hold services 7 p.m., Wednesday, in the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Thursday, in the Sacred Heart Church with Fr.
