Connie Lee Wentzel/Watson, 75, passed away on Sept. 15, 2024, in Tampa, FL. Born on June 28, 1949, Connie was a cherished member of the community and a devoted wife to her husband Mike Watson. She was a loving mother to her son, Greg; and daughter, Jennifer; and a doting grandmother to her eight grandchildren. Connie graduated from Hempfield Area High School and remained close to her roots throughout her life. She was especially bonded with her twin sister, Bonnie Kucenic (George), sharing daily conversations that kept their connection strong. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob Howard (Hud) and Irma Wentzel, her brothers, Scott, and Jeff Wentzel; and sister-in-law, Elain. Besides her immediate family, Connie is survived by her brother, Phil Wentzel; sisters, Judi Wagner (Don), and Doris Santone (Tony), sister-in-law, Judi Wentzel; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her deeply. Connie was a dedicated member of the Lutheran Church Our Savior, where she actively participated in various church activities. Her faith played a significant role in her life, providing her with comfort and a sense of community. A service to celebrate Connie's life will be held at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Tampa, FL, on Oct. 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. Her life was a testament to her loving nature and unwavering dedication to her family and faith.
