Phyllis Joy Feld, of Irwin, peacefully joined the Angels in Heaven on Friday, Aug. 2, 2024. She had devoted her life to caring for others first as a CNA at Monsour Hospital in Jeannette and then working at Jeannette District Memorial Hospital until her retirement. She was a wonderful nurse to both of her parents, her grandmother, and her uncle. In her retirement years, she enjoyed coloring, cross stitch, and tending to her flowers. The birds and deer will miss her as she made sure to feed them every day. Phyllis will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, especially to her great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved and cherished. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and William Feld; her grandmother, Josephine Schap; and her lifetime soulmate, Robert Daniels. Phyllis is survived by her sister and brother, Patti (James) Baker of Claridge, and William (Carol) Feld of Greensburg; her nieces, Kandee (John) Lojas and Sherri (Tim) Hill, both of North Huntingdon; nephew, James (Janine) Baker of Claridge; her great-nieces and nephews that made her so proud, Rachel Lojas, Brittney Lojas (fiance, Brian Odioso), Remington Lojas (fiance, Shelby Krevokuch), Jordan (Julia) Hill, Carine Baker, and Lucian Baker; and her dear friend, Louis Eichelberger Jr. There will be no visitation and services and burial will be private.
