Leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers isn’t the only move for Kenny Pickett.
The team’s former quarterback is finding a new home off the field too.
Less than a week after being traded to cross-state rival Philadelphia Eagles, Pickett has decided to part ways with his home on Spruce Lane in Cranberry, Butler County.
The house built in 2022 — the year Pickett was selected as the Steelers’ top draft pick — is on the market for $2.7 million with Piatt Sotheby’s International Realty.
The residence was built by Infinity Custom Homes in Warrendale. It is one of the company’s model homes.
“I love this home,” said Sayward Lehman, Realtor with Piatt Sotheby’s International. “It is a beautiful home and has all the upgrades. It is being sold fully furnished. They spared no details on this home.”
Lehman said she expects the home to get a lot of interest.
“Anything with Kenny Pickett right now is getting a lot of attention,” Lehman said.
The home has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, hardwood floors and encompasses 8,756 square feet.
It features plenty of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, according to a listing.
Lehman said the natural light is “phenomenal” and “pours into the home” thanks to the house’s position on the lot.
The single-family home’s gourmet kitchen has an island with seating, a double oven and plenty of room to entertain inside and outside thanks to a “gourmet grilling station.”
“Located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to all amenities, this newly built home offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience,” according to the listing. “It’s a true gem waiting to be owned and cherished.”
The primary bedroom is on the upper level and is 19 x 15. A laundry room is also on the upper level. The home has a walk-in closet. There is one bedroom on the main level.
There are a dozen rooms, including a game room on the lower level. There is a mudroom, a finished basement and a four-car garage.
Pickett, who played at the University of Pittsburgh, bought the home in July 2022.
“This home is a must-see,” Lehman said.
